Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose perfume is a dewy, fresh and bright rose fragrance for women from Armani. For this version citrus and zesty fruits are added to the Rose for a glistening perfume that creates a refreshing glow on the skin instead of the more edible Rose created in the original Diamonds perfume.

The heart brings back that Rose tone and adds fresh and dewy white florals for depth and a clean English garden sensation with Freesia and Lily of the Valley. I really dislike it when companies think "hmm we need a new fragrance but can't think of anything original. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. Eau de Parfum contains between seven to fourteen per cent of fragrance oils and perfume elixirs and is the second strongest, and longest lasting means of wearing a fine fragrance. This impacts the ability of the fragrance to last and around eighty percent of the oils in an EDT fragrance will evaporate within three hours of application.

This light and lemony fresh scent of roses begins with sparkling accords of bergamot, raspberry and black currant. Eau de toilettes, are defined as having a lesser concentration of oils than EDPs (between 5-15%), making them more toned down. I do love keeping it in my bag though to spritz throughout the day as the scent isn't cloying at all and gives a fresh feeling. I’m not sure I would describe it as “sparkling,” as on me it’s a musky rose right from the beginning. It's not that it smelled the way licorice smells (as I soon learned when I went out and bought Lolita lempicka) but it smells the way good licorice candy TASTES.Doesn’t project a lot and doesn’t last too long since it is a EDT but it is such a pretty and pink feminine fragrance which does actually get you compliments and works beautifully as a signature scent even if you haven’t top up later on in the day.
