There's a slight similiarity to Ysatis - I wish it were stronger - but Organza doesn't linger as well as Y.

I'm not usually a fan of gardenia, and can easily dislike a scent with too much gardenia, but the soft mushroom nuances of gardenia aren't off-putting here, as can sometimes be the case, but elevate the bouquet. I'm so getting a skilled seamstress to remake that dress for me, so I can wear it while wearing this perfume! I can smell the florals, the tuberose and woody notes, all of which is quite classic, but the the walnut and nutmeg add spiciness, woodiness, cosiness. It would seem that rotating Givenchy III, Scherrer (JLS) and the sylvan Laurent’s Y have piqued me in enjoying Organza.Launched in 1996, this flo It is not girly perfume at all, it's a vintage one that's why I don't see this perfume to be for this type of girls with fake hair, fake long eyelashes and instagram makeup but for a classy, elegant and sophisticated lady, something like Audrey Hepburn style or like the models of Ralph Lauren from 1980. The intoxicating opening of consists of opulent notes from gardenia, African orange flower, bergamot and nutmeg.

Organza shared this quality with another fragrance I wore that came out around the same time - Tocade by Rochas.The current version is more linear vanillic and less musky floral compared to the vintage, but it is still recognizably Organza. The bottle and the cap are forming a stunning ancient Greek ionic column that resembles the shape of a woman's body, the packaging is the beautiful representation of the juice inside - a scent fit for an elegant, strong woman. I owned an old 5ml and used it in it's entirety, but I found it to be a sexy, spicy 80s oriental with a bombastic projection. I don't think it's dated, but a person interested in light aquatic scents probably wouldnt' get on well with this perfume. Unfortunately, after letting it sit on its shelf for about two years (alas, other love interests came in sight), Organza stopped being its former self.
